2007 Was A Year of Conversation
This is my last post of 2007. The team at The Happy Burro will be back on Wednesday, January 2, 2008.
January 1, 2008 marks the first anniversary of this blog
A special thank you to the following people who were instrumental in supporting my writing this past year:
- Dawn, my wife, who understands my need to write
- Marcia Hyatt, executive coach, (and mother-in-law) who knows just what to say to keep things in tune
- Seth Godin, who provides me a new lens on marketing, and life, most every day
- Valeria Maltoni, who has provided untold encouragement
- Jim Stroup, who continually teaches me to remember the classics
- Steve Roesler, whose change series changed my views on workplace issues
- Robert Smith, who continues to provide intellectual stimulation on many topics, and great friendship
- The “Friday Email” group, for your feedback, ideas, and dialogue
- Wendy Marx, PR expert, who understands my storytelling
- Donna Karlin, who has given me a better perspective and collaboration opportunities

Stumble it!
Happy blogiversary, Joe. And Happy New Year. I’m sure you are well positioned to spring to new heights in 2008. It has been very instructive and productive to find opinions and information at the light of a stimulating conversation with you. Thank *you*.
Happy New Year, Joe! Thanks so much for your kind reference - and among such a group!
And congratulations as well for your first anniversary of working and writing in this venue - I’m certainly glad to have found you and I look forward to this and many years to come enjoying and benefiting from your thinking, insight, and expression.
Valeria,
Thank you! Your help in teaching me to ‘clarify my voice’ provided great learning for me. I am excited about continuing conversations in 2008!
Jim,
Thank you for the kind words. “Thinking, insight, and expression” - sounds like maybe your next book title…Here’s to more of all that in 2008!
